Ronald R. Adkins, Ph.D.
Vice President of R&D
Dr Adkins obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry. He was Division Scientist for 3M Commercial
Graphics where he developed and commercialized solvent and UV curable ink jet
inks for the award winning Raster Graphics Arizona™
Printer. Earlier in his career he was Technical
manager for Flint Ink, responsible for the Analytical Chemical and Printing
Research / Rheology Laboratories. His recent experience includes development
of novel dispersions as Corporate Scientist for an early-stage nano-materials
company.
Joseph E. Ward, Ph. D.
Vice President of Marketing
Dr. Ward brings a unique blend of product and business
development experience. He has led product development for a succession of
“start-up” businesses. One, (3M
ScotchPrint® large format digital imaging system employing ink jet and
electrostatic printing technology, grew from startup to over $100 MM in 5
years). Products included both aqueous and solvent based inks, toners receptor
media, laminates, software, and world-wide technical customer support. He co-developed wide format printers with partners
in Asia. His most recent experience was
as Product Development VP for an early-stage nano-materials company.
